Description of classes in the Esthetician stream of Dr. Vodder's MLD

Basic Neck and Face: 

• anatomy and physiology of lymph vessel system, effects, contraindications and precautions of MLD treatment

• basic Vodder MLD techniques for the neck and face

• successful candidates can incorporate MLD into existing skin care repertoire to enhance natural cleansing mechanisms of skin

Prerequisite for basic Neck and Face: completion of Esthetician program (must provide certificate number with registration)

Advanced Neck and Face: 

• review Basic material, expand with current theory and research

• additional techniques for face with practical applications for conditions such as acne, rosacea, pre- and post-cosmetic surgery

• written and practical test: successful candidates may describe themselves as Vodder Certified for Neck and Face MLD Treatments

Prerequisite for Advanced Neck and Face: successful completion of Basic Neck and Face
