Description of classes in the Esthetician stream of Dr. Vodder's MLD

Basic Neck and Face:

anatomy and physiology of lymph vessel system, effects, contraindications and precautions of MLD treatment
basic Vodder MLD techniques for the neck and face
successful candidates can incorporate MLD into existing skin care repertoire to enhance natural cleansing mechanisms of skin

Prerequisite for basic Neck and Face: completion of Esthetician program (must provide certificate number with registration)

review Basic material, expand with current theory and research
additional techniques for face with practical applications for conditions such as acne, rosacea, pre- and post-cosmetic surgery
written and practical test: successful candidates may describe themselves as Vodder Certified for Neck and Face MLD Treatments

Prerequisite for Advanced Neck and Face: successful completion of Basic Neck and Face
