About the Event
The Level 1 Practical course is the first step towards certification in Dr. Vodder's MLD. Basic Vodder techniques and routines are taught for application over the entire body. Successful candidates are able to perform full body MLD on people with an intact lymphatic system.
Instructor: Julie Stark
Course Time: 8:30-5:30 daily. Registration at 8am on Sep 7th.
Required textbook: Dr. Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage: A Practical Guide (2018) by H., D., A. and M. Wittlinger
Prerequisites for Level 1 Practical:
-purchase of online Level 1 Theory course and attempted examination. A retest is available during the practical course.
-completion of a Health Profession program such as PT, RN, RMT, OT, ND. HCP registration number and copy of certification are required with registration.
-PLEASE NOTE as of March 1, 2022 the Government of Ontario does not currently require proof of full covid vaccination. Vaccination status is collected on the registration form to allow participants to be notified if this requirement is reinstated.
Level 1 certificate allows entry into Level 2 Applied MLD and/or Level 3 Lymphedema.

Registration for practical course. Attempt at online theory exam is expected before the first day of class. Instructor will be available for questions and clarification of theory. Retest will be possible before the end of Practical course. Deposit of at least $250 required to hold a place in class. Full fees due by Aug 23rd.
