About the Event
The Level 1 Practical course is the first step towards certification in Dr. Vodder's MLD. Basic Vodder techniques and routines are taught for application over the entire body. Successful candidates are able to perform full body MLD on people with an intact lymphatic system.
Level 1 Theory coupon will be emailed with instructions for use once registration is confirmed. Material required for successful completion includes textbook (purchased separately) and online powerpoint videos. Plan for this portion of the course to take between 20 – 45 hours to complete. The material is available in English, German, French, Italian, Mandarin and Japanese.
*Note if you have already completed the online theory separately those fees will be deducted from this course.

Course Time: 8:30-5:30 daily. Registration at 8am on Sept 9th.
Required textbook: Dr. Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage: A Practical Guide (2018) by H., D., A. and M. Wittlinger
Prerequisites for Level 1 Practical:
-purchase of online Level 1 Theory course (included in this course fee) and attempted examination. A retest is available during the optional Level 1 Theory Review and Retest course offered the day before this course starts (register separately).
-completion of a Health Profession program such as PT, RN, RMT, OT, ND. HCP registration number and copy of certification are required with registration.
Level 1 certificate allows entry into Level 2 Applied MLD and/or Level 3 Lymphedema.

Level 1 Practical plus theory
Registration includes Level 1 Theory coupon and Practical course fee. Attempt at online theory exam is expected before the first day of class. Instructor is available for questions and clarification of theory during optional Theory Review and Retest course. Retest may also be possible before the end of Practical course. Deposit of at least $400 required to hold a place in class. Full fees due by Aug 25th.
